Breast Implant Revision – Before & After Case 31

Case Details

47 year old female who had undergone an initial breast augmentation with a lift in 2017. She experienced recurrent capsular contractures of the right breast despite multiple attempts at surgical correction by another surgeon. To reduce the contracture risk, we discussed using acellular dermal matrix (ADM) on the right side. A right breast total capsulectomy, use of ADM, left breast capsule tightening, and a reaugmentation with Mentor 470cc moderate high Boost implants was performed. The matrix prevented a recurrence of the contracture and improved symmetry was achieved.
