Breast Reconstruction – Implant Based – Before & After Case 51

Case Details

39 yo patient with a strong family history of breast cancer chose to undergo bilateral prophylactic nipple sparing mastectomies. Reconstruction consisted of prepectoral (on top of the muscle) implant reconstruction performed in one stage using 375cc MHB silicone gel implants. The patient has a wide sternum and care must be taken not to place the implants too central or the nipple position will be on the side of the breasts.
