Have You Heard of LATISSE®?

Beautiful eyes are even more stunning when long, lush lashes frame them, but often our eyelashes just aren’t as full as we would like them to be. If you think you have come up short in the lash department, not to worry – LATISSE® can help!

What Is LATISSE?

It is perfectly normal to lose a few eyelashes every day – they fall out naturally just as hair does (although if you notice an excessive amount of eyelashes falling out, you should see your doctor, as this can be a sign of a medical problem). Eyelashes are also easily torn out, and you may lose some when you are taking off your makeup or using an eyelash curler. There are also some medical treatments that can cause excessive loss of eyelashes.

If you are frustrated from your lack of lashes, LATISSE may be the answer. It is an at-home treatment that you apply to your lashes at night before you go to bed (it will get onto your lower lashes when you blink, so you only have to apply it to your upper lashes). You’ll start to notice a difference in your lashes in about 2 months, and you’ll see the full results in about 4 months. Once you start using it, you should keep using it to maintain these results.

LATISSE isn’t available over the counter – you have to get it from your doctor. Although it is safe to use (it has been approved by the FDA), there are some things you should know. For instance, you should remove your contacts before using LATISSE, and wait for 15 minutes after applying LATISSE before you put them in again. LATISSE also works best if you don’t use it and mascara at the same time. You can use LATISSE before bed at night and apply mascara in the morning, though.

If you are looking for a way to make your eyes even more beautiful, LATISSE can help you to have longer, darker, fuller lashes. Contact the staff at David Bogue Plastic Surgery in Boca Raton, Florida, for more information about LATISSE. Call the office at 561-886-1000 today!
