Breast Reconstruction – Implant Based – Before & After Case 38

Case Details

41 yo female with new diagnosis of a right breast cancer. She opted for a bilateral mastectomy, sparing the left nipple but removing the right. Reconstruction consisted of expanders followed by implants. She did require radiation therapy to the right breast. Final implants are 550cc high profile gel implants. Some radiation effects are evident on the right side with hyperpigmentation and tightness. The composite nipple graft on the right side is healthy and ready for a tattoo.
