52 yo woman with bilateral silicone implant ruptures. The implants were ~20 years old. Both capsules had tightened and elevated on the chest. Her goals were to remain the same size but to have the implants sit lower and feel more comfortable. Removal of the ruptured implants, the associated capsules, and a reaugmentation was performed. Her new implants are Mentor 590cc Moderate Profile Boost (gummy bear) implants. The new implants were much softer and more comfortable for the patient.
