58 year old woman with a right breast silicone gel implant placed in 1978 for congenital breast asymmetry. The implant had ruptured in the intervening years and caused a contracture. The revision surgery consisted of removing the free silicone, the old implant, and the contracted scar tissue. A new Mentor 130cc moderate classic silicone gel implant was placed. The results show improved symmetry without distortion.
